Thursday the 20th will mark a new version of the Lobotomys now that there is a riff between Luke/Simon verses Garfield, Wackerman on drums and Mr Dohy from Potato Salad on guitar along with John Pena on bass and Brandon Fields on sax. show is at La Va Lee.

What's the riff all about? Where can we read about it?

That's really a shame, because who can replace Luke? Can't be the same w/o him...

    Man,
That's really sad. It's a shame Luke feels that way, but I do think he may have a very slight point. It does seem Garfield might be trading off Jeff's name a little. I rarely see Garfield's name without seeing Jeff's by it...

I hope those guys can work it out, It seems to me that it is two major Ego's playing against each other. The last couple of Toto shows i've attended was like Steve Lukather and Toto, he has changed alot. back in the 80's and at the 1992 tour, Steve was such a laid back and cool guy on stage, I don't see that anymore.

On the other side i've seen a Karizma live gig where Garfield walks off the piano and starts to litteraly chit chat with Landau while Stubenhaus is doing a solo instead of comp and react to the ideas on the bas, he just walks off and talks with Landau with even knowing that it will draw off attention from Stubenhaus's solo. I was trying to talk with him after the gig where he was like " Uhh here's my website adress, now move along".

But damn both of them Can play some serious shit, but my experiences with them out of music has been somewhat dissappointing.

By far am I taking Steve's / Simons part!

They both obviously said NO to the release of this, but Creatchy wen't on anyway!!
There can be many a good reason for not putting out every bit of recording.

That was very uncool of Garfield to totally disregard the wishes/opinions of Lukather and Phillips. What a clown.....

I'm definitely with Luke on that one. I suspected David has been exploiting Jeff's name for quite a while- starting with his "Tribute for Jeff" CD. Oh, and he's selling "Tribute for Jeff" T-shirts as well...

Some of it has to do with Creatchy using Jeff's artwork a second time without permission or compensation from what I have heard.
As to the live DVD, did Luke release that or did Ohm Filter? They performed on that show giving release.
